THE ROCKY NECK PAVILION

EAST LYME | CT

Perched atop on a rocky bluff above the crescent-shaped beach, The Rocky Neck Pavilion is also known as the “Rocky Neck Castle”

Reasons we love the Rocky Neck Pavilion:

Wedding Ceremony Options:

Overlooking the rocky point with breathtaking water views of Long Island Sound, on the cobblestone terrace in front of the natural stone altar, or in the clearing near the whispering pines are just a few spots to mention.

The Rocky Neck Pavilion offers exclusive use of the second floor with its rustic charm and can accommodate up to 300 guests. The Pavilion was built in the 1930s. The supporting interior native wood pillars are crafted from only trees that were grown in our Connecticut Parks and Forests. There are two-amazing floor to ceiling ornate stone fireplaces, a gentle cross breeze of salty air and the wall of windows offers a continuous viewing of the beauty of the park. The wrought iron fenced in upper patio (standing only) allows guests to fully absorb the panoramic views and starry night sky. The Pavilion’s ambiance makes you and your guests feel as you have stepped into your own private beach cottage.

The Pavilion is open for rental Memorial Day through Indigenous People’s Day

What is included:

The Pavilion has a mix of 3ft (short & tall) and 5ft round tables, 8ft rectangular tables along with 300 brown metal folding chairs, all for indoor use only. The warming kitchen is spacious enough to house our crew as we prepare the evenings menu.
